    The El Paso Collaborative (EPC) through a Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) grant from the U.S. Department of H.U.D. is taking applications from prospective tenants. Under this program, EPC will lease single-family homes at below-market rents to qualifying households.

    Center based meals are served in 20 Senior Nutrition Community Centers throughout the County. Home delivered meals are served to 1,117 homebound frail elderly or handicapped individuals. Valley Services is the County's meal vendor for the preparation and delivery of all meals.

    The Diabetes Self-Management Education Program at Project Vida is funded and accredited by the American Association of Diabetes Educators. It was one of the first community classes offered by Project Vida, becoming formalized 12 years ago after a nurse would go to community centers to teach people about the risk for diabetes, a prevalent issue in El Paso. Now, the class has a 7 class curriculum, which is taught by a chronic care coordinator, and anyone who finishes the class receives a free glucometer.

  • Ysleta del Sur Pueblo- Alcohol and Substance Abuse Program

    The Ysleta del Sur Pueblo, Alcohol and Substance Abuse Program, provides outreach services, assessment, referral, and adult/adolescent Level III and Level IV outpatient treatment for YDSP Tribal community members and their families.  In addition, ASAP collaborates and contracts with other facilities to make available acute care services, residential treatment care and halfway house placement for adults and adolescents.

  • Ysleta ISD

    During the weeks of school closures, select Ysleta ISD schools will offer weekday breakfast and lunch meals for children 18 years of age and under on a drive through basis. Vehicles can pull up from 7:30 to 11:00 a.m. and receive BOTH breakfast and lunch meals for children.

    Through a contract with the Borderplex Workforce Development Board (URGWDB), the Workforce Solutions Borderplex Child Care Services (CCS) Department can assist parents in meeting their child care payments.
