WHAT IS THE DIABETES GARAGE

  • Four, 2-hour, weekly workshops that use auto maintenance comparisons to better explain diabetes management to men
  • When diagnosed with diabetes, most people seek help and are given a lot of information about how to manage the disease.
  • Workshops help men organize information in a way that fits their daily lives.
  • Center for Disease Control and Prevention states, "People with diabetes are living longer, healthier lives with fewer complications. What's the driving force? Greater awareness and better management of risk factors."
  • "OPEN GARAGE" sessions where men can ask a diabetes educator about diabetes management.

Receive a FREE diabetes care toolbox when completing our workshops.
